Policies Payments: All services are to be paid in full at the time of the booking or first day of service by cash or check to Kim Rhoades. An addtional fee of $35 plus bank fees for any returned check will be charged. A $25 late fee will be added to your bill if not paid by or on due date. Cancellations: 48-hour notice is required for all overnight stays or client will be billed 50% of fee for booked services. 24-hour notice is required for all daily visits or client will be billed in full for booked services. Key Pick-up and Return: At your free initial consultation, I will collect a set of keys from you. If you decide you don't want me to retain copies of your keys, a $10 service charge will be required for any future pick-ups and drop-offs. For any other consultations, a $16 service charge will be added to your bill. Confirmation Process: All reservations will be confirmed by email (or by phone for clients without email addresses). If you haven't received an email or phone confirmation, your reservation may not be secure and I ask that you please call or text before you leave to verify that I have you scheduled. Client Return: Client must notify me when you have returned home. I must know that your pets are being cared for and no additional visits are required. Pet Behavior: If a pet has a history of biting or other aggressive behavior, Pampered Paws reserves the right to refuse service. Emergency Care: Client authorizes Kim Rhoades to obtain any emergency veterinary care that may be necessary during the time spent with your pet. Client accepts responsibility for any charges related to this emergency care. Client also authorizes Kim Rhoades to utilize an alternative veterinarian in the event that your primary vet is unavailable. Every effort will be made to contact the owner prior to obtaining emergency care. Emergency Contact: This should be a person close enough to walk to your home if roads are impassable (for example, a neighbor) or If I am sick or have a family emergency. If I am physically unable to drive to your home this information is needed so that I can contact this person to request their assistance to check on your pet(s). Please remember that garage door openers are not operational in the event of power outages. In the event that you do not provide a nearby emergency contact with access to your home, client realizes that Pampered Paws will provide service, but not until conditions allow us to reach your home safely. Inclement Weather: Primarily severe storms, hurricanes, snow/ice conditions, etc. You will entrust Pampered Paws to use best judgment in caring for your pet(s) and home if I am servicing you at the time of inclement weather. Pampered Paws will try to carry out your instructions to the best of my ability. The care that I provide for my client's pets and their safety is my first concern. Every effort will be made to drive to your home. The service schedule may be changed, interrupted, or altered due to circumstances. If it is not possible to drive safely to your home, your emergency contact will be notified, and you will also be notified. |
