All services are to be paid in full at the time of the booking or first day of service for (new clients) by cash or check to Kim Rhoades. Failure to pay your bill within five (5) days and or if you are on
a monthly payment schedule with Pampered Paws, $25 late fee will be added to your bill. Returned check fee: $35 plus bank fees will be billed to your account for all returned checks.
48-hour notice is required for all overnight stays or client will be billed 50% of fee for booked services. For all daily visits, Pampered Paws must be notified by 7am of day of service or client will be billed in full for booked services.
Key Pick-up and
At your free initial consultation, I will collect a set of keys from you. Failure to provide 2 keys will incur a $5 charge to make a copy for the office. If you decide you don't want me to retain copies of your keys, a $10 service charge will be required for any future pick-ups/ drop-offs. For any other consultations, a $16 service charge will be added to your bill.
All reservations will be confirmed by email (or by phone for customers without email addresses). If you haven't received an email or phone confirmation, your reservation may not be secure and we ask that you please call or text before you leave to verify that we have you scheduled.
Client must notify us when you have returned home. Pampered Paws must know that your pets are being cared for and no additional visits are required. No matter how late you return, please text or email, otherwise a sitter will return to your home for an additional visit and you will be billed.
If a pet has a history of biting or other aggressive behavior, Pampered Paws Pet Sitting reserves the right to refuse service. Client will be responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from injury to the pet sitter or other persons by the pet. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pampered Paws in the event of a claim by any person injured by the pet. Client also agrees that it is their responsibility to notify Pampered Paws of any pet that has caused any injury to any human.
Pampered Paws is not responsible for or will not be liable for free roaming outdoor pets in the event of any fines, illness, injury, loss
or death. This includes pet that are secured with invisible fencing.
It is strongly advised that all pets have identification and that they remain inside the home or confined to a yard or pen for their own safety and welfare in your absence.
Client also authorizes Kim Rhoades to obtain any emergency veterinary care that may be necessary during the time spent with your pet. Client accepts responsibility for any charges related to this emergency care. Client also authorizes Kim Rhoades to utilize an alternative veterinarian in the event that your primary veterinarian is unavailable. Every effort will be made to contact the owner prior to obtaining emergency care.
This should be a person close enough to walk to your home (for example, a neighbor). In the event of personal emergency, illness or injury regarding the pet sitter, this information is needed so that we can contact this person to request their assistance to check on your pet(s). In the event that you do not provide a nearby
emergency contact with access to your home, client realizes that Pampered Paws will provide service by sending another sitter to fulfill the responsibilities.
Primarily severe storms, tornados, snow/ice conditions, etc. You will entrust Pampered Paws to use best judgment in caring for your pet(s) and home if we are servicing you at the time of inclement weather. Pampered Paws will try to carry out your instructions to the best of our ability. The care we provide for client’s pets and their safety is our first concern. Every effort will be made to drive to your home. The service schedule may be changed, interrupted, or altered due to circumstances. If it is not possible to drive safely to your home, your emergency contact will be notified, and you will also notified. Please remember that garage door openers are not operational in the event of power outages.
Pampered Paws is not liable for any loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime that should occur while under this contract. Client agrees to secure the home prior to leaving the premises. Pampered Paws will re-secure the homes at the best of his/her ability at the end of each visit.
Pampered Paws reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the pet sitter, in his/her sole discretion determines that client’s pet poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people, or the pet sitter. If concerns prohibit the pet sitter from caring for the pet, the client authorizes the pet to be placed in a kennel (or previously arranged locale) with all charges (including but not limited to transportation, kenneling, tranquilizing, treating, accessing, and liability) to be the responsibility of the client.
Client authorizes Pampered Paws and Pet Sitters to take photos of client’s pet for file and business website. All photos taken are the property of Pampered Paws.
